Impermanence in All Things

8/27/08 06:50 am - King & Maher

I was watching Larry King the other night with Bill Maher as his guest.

One part of their conversation went something like this:

Larry King to Bill Maher: Now, if God was all powerful and all that- why don't he just kill the devil?

Maher's Response: If God were to kill the devil, there will be no need for churches, Larry, no need for salvation and above all: NO TITHING and passing of the plates.

:D

8/27/08 04:41 am - WooHEEEEEEEEE!

The most ridiculous advertisement on TV is Viagara. For heaven's sake- if you can't get it up, maybe its mother nature's way of hinting to you, time to relax now- bucko!

WooHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Err...no thanks. Humans love to manipulate everything around them, is that not enough? Leave Mother Nature A L O N E! Its beautiful and perfect as it is. She does not need photoshop editing tools. :DDD

8/25/08 09:41 am - Toilet Paper

I've got to admit it, it finally dawned upon me, how much I admire and adore toilet paper manufacturers. They only make these precious commodity in one shade. WHITE!
And we all use them worldwide, for the most part--where the sun doth not shine!

there must be A GOD after all, to even things out! :D

Oh, and on another topic, on ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. It never cease to amaze me how many people consider our Mexican people as ILLEGAL Immigrants in this country. As if, our Europeans who entered our shores armed with weapons of mass destruction arrived- with a passport and a visa?

hmm...just fancy that! did I wake up on the wrong side of the BED? NOPE. Woke up on the truth side of the bed. ;D

8/25/08 08:33 am - Black House- A Waka

doing the countdown
for the cowboy/thug to vacate
the white house
paint it all ebony
if Barack Obama wins!

Although I highly highly doubt he will win. This country ain't ready for a BLACK guy to be president- so...let alone a BLACK First lady? dream on!

If every single eighteen year old will stay sober and go out to vote come Novemeber- (other than his supporters and a few Independent voters), I'd say he has a chance.

A-HA! Love means to drop all pretenses, be true even if it means losing a few folks along the way, and please, oh please, discard FLUFF! Light does not equate love, drop this stupid thought, as it is my belief, without darkness how to see the Milky Way. Love is just love. Be open, dare to sing a few love songs along the way, to your lovers, friends, and family... and don't hold back. Well, the last thought was borrowed from my father's belief.

8/24/08 06:04 pm - Pearl Harbor Waka

Pearl Harbor Waka

pearl harbor--
what an awakening
for the USA
samurai or terrorists
who cares ...we deserved it?!

Americans need a reality check here and there... you know. we just can't go around bullying others...someone, somewhere is bound to retaliate!!!

of course there will be no comments allowed for this precious entry, and yes, life is about impermanence, and I will get over this one- in about five mins.

LOL LOL LOL LOL!

Whoops, I am making enemies already. But that too is part of life...hahaha!

8/22/08 05:25 am - Writer's Block: Music and Moods

How do different types of music relate to your moods?

View other answers

gosh! Music being an universal language, I suppose I react like everyone else. some make me sad, others make me get up and dance, some bring back memories of a time, a place, a person or persons, and in some, I can completely lose myself. When I was in my twenties, some music actually made me cry. How silly is that? I do not do that anymore, cry that is...

Miles Family, Tijuana, MX -2002

The Family in Tijuana, MX-02

I was sifting through the picture albums, now that we've unpacked our boxes again after the fires in N. California, and happened upon this particular photograph that made me giggle so much. Especially the word on my younger son's sombrero---Cisco Kid, and the look he has on his face.

Older son was not a willing participant, rather evident-the expression on his face. Poor kids-- the stuff parents make children do. lol lol lol!

I highly doubt that we could pull that charade on them now...thank the heavens we did it when we could! Such joyous memories!

Laughing uncontrollably, ...at this hour of the night. luv it!

oh by the way, that donkey ala mule ala burro, that my younger son's perched on is a live one, with stripes like a zebra. that is what that got me SO excited that I had to have this picture, and the guy who took the picture was probably thinkin...yah...tourista...now I make me some peso!

oh- oh- and- and-, my younger son just reminded me of this: when we crossed the border and were at INS...the officer said, Welcome Back, folks, did you have a nice time...and my older son responded with a: I am so happy to be back in the US and can't wait to get home. R O F L!
